Designer Telfar Clemens hosted an old-school press conference during NYFW for the unveiling of Telfar TV, a platform where new collections are debuted and fans can submit their own videos to be a part of the show. VIP guests and journalists were seated auditorium-style facing a long mic’d up table. Clemens and a few of his friends, including the rapper A$AP Ferg, artist Kandis Williams, and choreographer and dancer Jonte’ Moaning, walked down a runway to the sounds of a live slide guitarist before taking their seats in front of the audience. Once seated, the group made their announcements about the new platform, tinged with comedy, to the boisterous crowd. Telfar also took the opportunity to unveil a new bag design: a sleek duffle.
